The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC), funded by the International Organization for Migration (IOM), is committed to assisting internally displaced people and returnees by providing dignified shelter solutions through medium shelter repairs. This intervention aims to restore safe and habitable living conditions, facilitate the return of displaced families, and contribute to long-term recovery efforts.
The project includes medium/moderate shelter repairs for 175 residential units—70 in Bekaa (Douris and Baalbek) and 105 in the South (Alma Al Chaab and Maarkeh)—as well as repair works for 15 common areas in residential buildings (six in Bekaa and nine in the South).
