Humanitarian Organisations’ Use of Money Service Providers

It is intended to consolidate and improve the knowledge of all stakeholders involved in the topic, including on terminology, legal frameworks, donor positions and policies, reasons for using MSPs and the risks associated with doing so. It also sets out the steps humanitarian organisations take to ensure they use MSPs safely and responsibly.

To achieve this, the report builds on desk research and key informant interviews with more than 20 experts from humanitarian organisations, banks, donor governments and MSPs.
