A record 120 million people globally have fled their homes, and 2024 has brought us several worsening crises and conflicts, such as Gaza, Sudan and Ukraine. There are families without roofs over their heads, children without education, and entire communities lacking access to food.
At the same time, we have seen inspiring generosity and effective humanitarian work. Thanks in part to our supporters, our skilled colleagues have been able to deliver vital assistance and services in many of today's most challenging crises. We have continued to support people in neglected crises around the world, and react quickly to new crises, such as in Sudan, the Sahel, Lebanon and Syria.
We hope you will continue to stand with people forced to flee in the year to come.
