The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is an independent humanitarian organisation helping people forced to flee.

We protect displaced people and support them as they build a new future. We started our relief efforts after World War Two. Today, we work in both new and protracted crises across 40 countries. We specialise in six areas: food security, education, shelter, legal assistance, protection from violence, and water, sanitation and hygiene.

NRC’s Information Counselling and Legal Assistance (ICLA) programmes aim to enable people affected by displacement to claim and exercise their rights and to find lasting solutions. ICLA also aims to prevent displacement for those at risk. While with Education, we provide youth with opportunities for post-primary education, including technical, vocational and tertiary education, supporting them to engage meaningfully in their communities and access livelihood opportunities.

NRC Uganda is endeavouring to strengthen its operations in Uganda through the recruitment of consultants and contractors. For participation in online Expression of Interest (EoI) process, interested firms are required to send their request through email on ug.tender1@nrc.no and accordingly instructions will be shared via return email with the respective firm for applying online. The deadline for submission is 23:59hrs on 29 July 2024. The submitted Expression of Interest documents shall be opened on 30 July 2024 at 10:00hrs.
