This thematic report is the third in a series of reports published by the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) about housing, land, and property rights, land tenure and land-related conflict in Liberia.

It presents a study of the NRC’s mediation process for resolving land disputes, and seeks to document the process and wider context in which it is carried out. The intention of this series is to provide original research and analysis supporting the government of Liberia and civil society organisations to protect and promote housing, land and property rights.
